Stuck fast as I slip down into the depths of quicksand.  That seems to be where I am right now.  My desire is to pick up momentum and move forward but even a step is impossible. I can’t move anything.  Momentum is lost when we sit, lay or when we are stuck as I seem to be.   Some days it’s just accomplishing little things but even those things can be challenging sometimes.  But I have to move something to accomplish the goals I have in mind.  I make headway for a bit and then lose ground again.  It’s a painstaking process sometimes.  Today the image of someone sliding along the sand on his face captured my screen and I could relate.  Sometimes I move through my day just like that.  It's a painful process that requires every ounce of effort inside of me and God's strength to accomplish.  It seems like I will never make it through the day let alone the week.  These are the times when I have to tap even more into God's supply.  Isaiah 40:29 says, "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak."  He promises to provide for our needs each and every day even when we are having a sloth kind of day that requires every ounce of physical, emotional and spiritual effort that we have to make it through.  God is always there to help us.  May we all learn to tap into His power.
