Debbie Gordon Grief Coach Profile Image

As a Grief Coach, I come alongside women who have experienced the death of a loved one. I help my clients regain their footing, process their emotions, find ways to cope, and push through their pain so they can find meaning and purpose in their lives again.  The loss of a loved one can feel so dark and difficult. Traveling through this pain can seem daunting and impossible. With Grief Coaching, I come alongside my clients and help guide them through this difficult time. Grief Coaching provides my clients with the small incremental steps needed to make it through their day, find ways to cope with their grief, and reach new goals. It helps them find the courage to tackle new dreams, discover new doors, and uncover new truths about themselves. With Grief Coaching, my clients find the courage to achieve dreams that may have been dormant. They slowly walk through their grief and find new meaning and purpose in their lives.

“Grief is the price we pay for love.” Dr. Colin Murray

When I was 22 years old, I experienced a traumatic death when my boyfriend drowned. I was young, and I didn’t know how to grieve or even how to heal from my pain. I struggled for decades until I finally began my own recovery. My journey finally led me to healing, and the doors to my dreams finally unfolded. Now, I share the things I learned in my recovery journey with my clients. I know healing is possible. I also know that traveling through grief is much more challenging and difficult without the support of others. This is why I became a Grief Coach. I am passionate about helping women who are dealing with grief live with more joy than pain.

By training, I’m a Certified Grief Coach, Certified Grief Educator, and Pediatric Speech Therapist. I’m also an Award-Winning Author and Speaker who is passionate about inspiring people in pain to find hope and healing through God’s power. I actively lead groups at Celebrate Recovery and Grief Share. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, gardening, photography, ice skating, and rollerblading.

Who I Help

Coaching is for those who struggle with anything in their life that holds them back from achieving the goals and dreams that they have. Maybe you feel stuck and just can't move forward in your life. If so then coaching is for you.

How I Do It

I am a guide and hold you accountable for the small goals you make in your life. Coaches ask powerful questions to help bring transformation and change into your life.

What's in It for You

Coaching brings Transformation, Growth, Change, and Hope into your life. It moves you forward from where you are right now to where you wish you could be.

How can grief coaching empower you to move forward and find hope again?
  1. It explores ways to help you move through your grief.

  2. It helps you explore how to eventually find meaning in your life.

  3. It offers a safe and non-judgmental space for you to express your emotions related to grief.

  4. It allows you to share your feelings and experiences openly.

  5. It recognizes that your grief journey is unique.

  6. It tailors the approach to meet your specific needs and circumstances.

  7. It assists you in setting goals for your healing journey.

  8. It helps you identify areas where you want to make progress or find resolution, and then works to develop action plans and strategies to help you achieve these goals.

  9. It helps you build resilience and develop a sense of empowerment as you navigate your grief.

  10. It supports you in recognizing your strengths, finding meaning and purpose, and exploring opportunities for personal growth and transformation.
